Law , Ethics and Computer Technology
Definitions:
Law:
A recognized casual link or principle whose violation must or should result in a penalty as failure, injury, loss, or pain.
Ethics:
The basic concepts and fundamental principles of right human conduct. It includes study of universal values such as the essential equality of all men and women, human or natural rights, obedience to the law of land, concern for health and safety and, increasingly, also for the natural environment.
Computer Technology:
The activity of designing and constructing and programming computers.
Relationships between Law, Ethics, and Computer Technology
The relationship between the three is Ethics and Computer Technology is connected with each other same as the Law . Example, computer technology nowadays is really into its higher level, Ethics teaches us how to use the properly, here are some rules. Do not use a computer to harm other people, do not interfere with other people’s computer work ,do not snoop around in other people’s computer files ,do not use a computer to steal ,do not use a computer to bear false witness ,do not copy or use any software for which you have not paid , do not use other people’s computer resources without authorization, do not appropriate other people’s intellectual output ,Always use a computer to respect other people, but why there is the computer crimes like these, SPAMMING/HACKING,COPYRIGHTS,VANDALISM and NETIQUETTES, that's why we have the law to punish the crime makers.It effects depending upon people's decision about development and use.
